Paul Ritchie

Paul Ritchie is an Irish rapper, actor, producer, talent agent and entrepreneur known for his contributions to hip-hop music and independent film production under the stage name Tall-Order. From Dublin, Ritchie founded Hour Hearts Productions, where he serves as producer, and previously owned Bloodshed Records Inc. and Bloodshed Promotions.

Born in Clondalkin and raised in Ballyfermot from the age of 13, Ritchie's creative life grew out of a difficult environment. He began writing poetry, songs and art at a young age. After being expelled from school at 13, writing became one of the ways he processed what was happening around him. He has spoken publicly about losing friends to suicide and about how writing helped him through some of the darkest periods of his life.

Ritchie began releasing hip-hop material as Tall-Order, also known as 2Storeys. He founded Bloodshed Records and Bloodshed Promotions and released The Tree Of Life & Death, alongside later work under the 2Storeys name including Into The Light and Out Of The Darkness.

His career expanded into screen work, with acting appearances including King Arthur, Rebel Heart, Michael Inside, Thank You Come Again and Amongst The Wolves. In Amongst The Wolves, he played Paulie and also served as executive producer.

In October 2021, Ritchie co-founded Hour Hearts Productions with childhood friend and actor Myles Maher. The company was created to build opportunities for independent filmmakers and to use creative work as a positive force in communities. Hour Hearts has developed youth writing and acting initiatives alongside film and television projects.

Today Ritchie continues to work across writing, directing, producing and acting, with feature films and documentaries in development and pre-production through Hour Hearts Productions. His approach is direct: make the work, build the team, create opportunities and keep moving.
